| XPS was the Logistics Sponsor and Exhibitor at “Kritansh” the Annual Techno-Management
Festival of the KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. The event was held from 16 th Feb - 18th Feb 2008. This event was a huge success and drew in over 5000 participants in a host of technical and managerial events. Opening of New Warehouse |
| TCI- SCS has opened a new warehouse at Panvel, Mumbai. This warehouse is spread over an area of 90,000 sq ft and is equipped with all modern amenities. It is an Excise/ Custotms Bonded warehouse and will cater to the export requirements of a major tyre manufacturer. The inbound logistics is also being looked after by TCI-Supply Chain Solutions. The exports will be to 105 countries around the world. |

| TCI Foundation had conducted a one day HIV / AIDS awareness program at the office of JCB India Ltd., on 17th December 2007 at Ballabgarh. This interaction received on overwhelming response from the trucking community. over 80 drivers & helpers associated with the JCB operations participated in the program. |

Conference on ITS |
| Mr R G Sharma , AVP-Operations, TCIL gave a presentation on "Commercial Vehicle Operations" on 4th December 2007 at a conference cum exhibition on ITS for Safe & Efficient Mobility in India . The event was organized by the Association of Intelligent Transport Systems(AITS) and supported by the Ministry of Ur ban Development . The conference was attended by around 350 delegates and took place at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. |
TCI- Training Program |
| TCIF held a training for the outreach workers in Lonavala on 24th-25th of October 2007 and in Gurgaon on 31st October and 1st November 2007. This was held after a gap of 2 years. around 60 participants attended the training. |
XPS - Engineering Expo 2007 |
| XPS participated in Engineering Expo 2007 at Ahmedabad. The exhibition dates were 29th November to 2nd December 2007. it is one of the most prestigious exhibition of the region and is organized every year by INFOMEDIA. XPS took a stall in the exhibition and all the services of CPS and Group TCI were exhibited during the exhibition. it was well attended and was successful. |
“Mumbo-Jumbo” |
| TCI Seaways successfully helped Malathi (23 year old female elephant)_from Port Blair to Chennai on 24th October aboard TCI Surya. Malathi weighs 5 MT and was kept in an open top container on the hatch top. Her Mahawat accompanied her and took care of her food and water requirements. |
