ITI (Indian Telephone Industries) and TCI have had a long relationship of 26 years, in transporting electronic exchanges, transmission equipment, microwave and satellite equipment from Leh and Ladhak to Aizwal in Mizoram and the entire South.
"We are happy with the system of intimating us of the consignment having reached the TCI godowns. The intimation card reaches us in three days of arrival of the consignment". ITI has recently also started a 'Fast Track' system whereby if the transporter informs of delivery at the destination to the originating point in the specified number of days, he receives an incentive in terms of speedy payments. "I am happy to say that just yesterday when I was clearing the bills, seven out of ten bills of TCI were eligible forthe incentive under 'Fast Track'.
